As a Controller, you’ll provide accurate financial information that helps to develop best practices and strategic leadership in cost control as well as assisting in the development of the budget, to ensure the correct accounting and monthly closing of the company's Financial Statements. Responsibilities include ensuring timely monthly accounting closing, comparing company achievements vs expectations, supporting management communication and decision making, ensuring quality of information through reports and key indicators, coordinating budget preparation, forecasting and monitoring compliance, ensuring internal control activities such as ICRQ and SOX Templates, evaluating Annual Physical Inventory and QPI, determining risks and opportunities, standardizing and improving processes, and supporting innovation with data driven decision making. Basic qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting, 7+ years’ experience as plant or regional manufacturing controller, ability to manage 3 plants and present to senior leadership, experience in cost and sales analysis, forecasting, inventory and budgeting, solid manufacturing process understanding, change process initiative, and analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Manufacturing/Automotive sector experience is preferred. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Finance and/or Accounting and 10+ years’ experience as plant or regional manufacturing controller.
