Job Title: MRI and CT Technologist

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced MRI and CT Technologist to join our healthcare team for a 4-month contract, working a block schedule of 7 days on, followed by 7 days off. The selected candidate will perform a variety of diagnostic imaging exams utilizing advanced technologies in both Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and Computed Tomography (CT).

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct MRI exams while ensuring high-quality imaging and adherence to safety protocols.
• Carry out CT scans and assist in performing invasive procedures under the guidance of radiologists.
• Exhibit exceptional judgment and initiative to troubleshoot and resolve issues during procedures.
• Work collaboratively with radiologists to determine optimal imaging protocols for accurate diagnostics.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for MRI services, approximately one week per month.
• Perform CT exams on scheduled weekends, specifically every other weekend from 8:30 AM to 8 PM.

Qualifications:

• Current registration in MRI and CT by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
• Completion of an approved course in Magnetic Resonance Imaging is preferred.
• One year of experience as an MRI Technologist or clinical rotation through a hospital setting during training.
• Experience with EPIC charting and charge experience is preferred.
• Strong technical skills in performing various examinations across different patient demographics, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Work Schedule:

• 3x10 Hour shifts from 7:30 AM - 6 PM for MRI.
• 4x10 Hour shifts from 8:30 AM - 8 PM for CT.
• Scheduled work week starts on Wednesday, ending the following Tuesday.

Patient Care and Staffing Ratios:

• Staff-to-patient ratio: 1:2 during days and weekends.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care.
