Position: Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
Role Overview: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in Assessments: Support SLPs during evaluations to identify speech and language disorders.
Implement Therapy Plans: Carry out individualized treatment plans designed by SLPs to address specific needs.
Conduct Therapy Sessions: Provide direct therapy, both individually and in groups, focusing on improving communication skills.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of progress and session activities.
Collaborate: Work closely with SLPs, educators, and families to support success.
Qualifications:
Associate's degree in a speech-language pathology assistant program or a bachelor's degree in communication sciences and disorders.
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant.
Experience in a clinical or educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
