Schedule - Monday through Friday, Full time on site 

The Opportunity

Join our Distillation team as a Recycle Reuse Tech Specialist, where you’ll apply your lab skills to support sustainable chemical processing. This is a great opportunity for a hands-on experience in a fast-paced industrial lab environment.

What You’ll Do

• Test chemical samples using wet chemistry and gas chromatography
• Perform small-scale pilot distillations to support process development
• Take regular samples from tanks and shipments for analysis
• Create Certificates of Analysis for outgoing products
• Maintain and calibrate lab equipment and help evaluate new tools
• Enter and manage test data in a laboratory database
• Support SOP development and quality control improvements
• Assist plant operations with tasks related to recycle/reuse processes

What You'll Bring

• Associate’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)
• At least 2 years of lab or industry experience
• Hands-on experience with wet chemistry and gas chromatography
• Familiarity with solvent distillation and standard lab procedures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Commitment to safety and environmental responsibility

Work Environment

Fully on site in an industrial setting. Candidates must be able to pass a physical examination and meet the physical demands of the role, which may include activities such as walking, standing, crawling, kneeling, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling, hearing, and seeing.

The annual salary for this position begins at $52,000.00 and depends on factors such as your location, experience, skills, and qualifications. Final compensation will be determined through a thoughtful assessment of your background and fit for the role.
