Summer Intern Production Support

Responsibilities for the Summer Intern Production Support

• Operate packaging equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Inspect, label, and package products in preparation for shipment
• Support production lines by delivering raw materials to the floor
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in work areas
• Relieve other team members during scheduled breaks
• Start up and operate designated packaging machinery, manual hand sealers, and stretch wrappers
• Perform in-process quality checks according to QA guidelines
• Maintain product quality standards throughout production
• Use lot code printers, including updating information and changing ink cartridges
• Ensure proper raw materials are in place at workstations
• Accurately complete all required paperwork
• Assist other team members and perform additional tasks as directed

Qualifications for the Summer Intern Production Support

• Must observe all safety rules and use proper safety equipment at all times
• Must follow GMP, FDA, and ISO guidelines as required
• Ability to push/pull materials requiring up to 100 lbs. of force
• Constant use of hands; occasional use of foot controls
• Ability to perform repetitive grasping and manual tasks throughout the shift
• Must be dependable, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
