Pre-Sell Account Manager Overview: Orders product, gains distribution on new products, and ensures merchandising standards are being met in all small format accounts. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Develops all assigned accounts relative to sales volume, market share, product distribution, space allocation, and customer service. Takes inventory and places orders for future delivery to avoid out-of-stocks and reduction of out-of-date product. Rotates products, cleans shelving, and stocks product from the store’s backroom onto the shelves and displays in coolers and vending equipment. Sells and executes promotions, solicits placement of equipment and sells sufficient product inventory. Provides excellent service to assigned accounts; creates and maintains goodwill with all customers. Builds displays and participates with store resets to stimulate sales. Creates and utilizes point of sale signage. Completes required paperwork in an accurate and timely manner maintaining legibility. Other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent required. Valid Driver’s License required. One (1) year of sales experience in the beverage industry preferred. Must be able to perform basic financial calculations, such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Must have good oral and written communication skills. Must be able to perform heavy physical labor for extended periods of time. Must be detailed oriented. Must be able to work in a fast paced, ever-changing environment. Must be a self-starter with excellent follow-up skills. Must be able to work in a team environment. Must be able to meet PBV driving qualifications. Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.
