Description

We have an immediate need to hire a qualified Podiatrist to join our team in East Bay, CA. Under the direction of the Chief Medical Officer, the Podiatrist provides routine care and referral services to patients, including:

• Examining patients' legs and feet to diagnose diseases and care needs.
• Treating bone, muscle, and joint disorders affecting the feet and ankles.
• Performing wound care management.
• Diagnosing diseases and deformities using medical histories, physical exams, x-rays, and lab tests.
• Prescribing medications, devices, physical therapy, or surgery as appropriate.
• Advising patients on treatment plans and foot and ankle care techniques to prevent future problems.
• Providing education and consultation to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Providing health promotion and preventive medication.
• Maintaining accurate medical records for patients.

Requirements

• Ability to observe, assess, and record symptoms and progress accurately.
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for medical care.
• Understanding of diagnosing and treating injuries, diseases, and deformities.
• Ability to identify complex problems, review information, and develop solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse patients and colleagues.
• Effective time management skills.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Word, Excel, EMR, and databases.
• Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Successful passing of background checks and a clean DMV report.

Education and Experience

• Active Podiatrist license in California.
• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school.
• Completion of an accredited residency program.
• Minimum three years of professional experience.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary: $150,000 - $175,000 plus a percentage of collections, depending on experience.
• Benefits begin after 30 days of employment for full-time employees working 30+ hours/week.
• Participation in 401(k) plan with company match up to 4% after 60 days.
