Our Federal Engineered Systems Global Business Unit is a world-class leader in delivering engineering and technology solutions to Federal DoD and Civilian clients.

Parsons is seeking a PMO Director to ensure overall program success as the Systems Integrator in delivering the FAA/DOT/Administration’s new Air Traffic Control System.

Preference is for candidates located in the National Capital Region. Parsons will consider remote/hybrid employees with the expectation of 75% travel.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Establishing a robust PMO with support functions to ensure the success of all supported programs
  • Developing efficient, repeatable processes applicable across all supported programs
  • Collaborating with government stakeholders
  • Managing program risks and helping the program management team develop comprehensive risk-management processes
  • Developing in-depth knowledge of program objectives, contract terms, and corporate policies
  • Ensuring the PMO team establishes program templates for all CDRLs, events, and partner communications to ensure high-quality, consistent messaging and branding
  • Mobilizing company resources to create effective, quality project teams
  • Working with managers and technical leads to develop budgets, schedules, and plans, ensuring goals are met or exceeded
  • Monitoring and reporting on project progress, milestones, and conditions affecting cost or schedule

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, or relevant work experience
  • Exceptional leadership, mentoring, communication, relationship management, and strategic planning skills
  • 25+ years of proven experience in program and project management, including leading a PMO
  • Experience managing large, complex programs or PMOs (multi-billion dollar scope)
  • Business development or capture management experience
