Job Location: 0007 Immaculate Conception Parish, Seattle - Seattle, WA
Position Type: Part Time
Salary Range: $8,100.00 - $9,000.00
POSITION PURPOSE
Collaborates with the pastor and staff to implement the parish mission through directing the parish faith formation programs for children and youth.
II. MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads and directs the Faith Formation Program for grades K-12.
Leads and directs Sacramental Preparation programs (Baptism, Confirmation, Reconciliation, Eucharist, Adult Confirmation, OCIA).
Recruits, trains, motivates, and provides guidance to volunteers involved with faith formation activities and programs.
Prepares and teaches classes as needed.
Registers couples for pre-marital counseling, schedules pre-nuptial conferences with priests, and administers the FOCUS instrument.
Administers the Archdiocese of Seattle Safe Environment “Circle of Grace” program to children and youth.
Ensures all volunteers in the Faith Formation program comply with Safe Environment Policy.
III. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS
Maintains inventory of educational supplies and re-orders as needed.
Performs other duties as assigned, which may include evenings and weekends.
Qualifications
Primary:
Willingness and ability to support the mission of the Catholic Church by extending the ministry of the archbishop.
Ability and desire to use God-given gifts and talents in service of the local Church, supporting collaboration between lay and ordained ministers.
A practicing faithful Catholic and active member of a parish in good standing with the Church.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience directing or coordinating faith formation programs in a parish is preferred.
Minimum educational qualification: an undergraduate degree in Religious Education, Pastoral Studies, Education, or an equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Technology skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Publisher, Excel, Outlook; Google Workspace, and social media platforms.
Technical skills for multimedia presentations and producing printed materials and curriculum support materials.
Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills, experience, degrees, and certifications.
