This entry-level position provides administrative and project support to the Program Executive Office – Integrated Warfare Systems (PEO IWS) and associated stakeholders. The candidate will assist with meeting coordination, project schedule updates, briefing preparation, and basic financial tracking tasks. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual looking to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic Navy program office environment.

Travel: Travel to Washington DC, occasionally Clearance:

An ACTIVE Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Requirements:
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and interface professionally with customers.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and meeting support for PEO IWS engagements, including scheduling, room coordination, and preparing meeting materials.
  • Draft and distribute meeting minutes for technical and programmatic meetings involving Navy and contractor stakeholders.
  • Support the development of high-quality briefings for Captain-level and senior leadership engagements.
  • Maintain and update project schedules and task trackers in coordination with project leads.
  • Assist financial team members in tracking program budgets, obligations, and expenditures.
  • Collect and organize metric data for internal reporting and leadership reviews.
  • Build, edit, and maintain content on Confluence pages to support knowledge sharing and project transparency.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with government and contractor personnel.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Familiarity with DoD or Navy program offices.
  • Experience with Confluence, SharePoint, or similar collaboration tools.
  • Exposure to project tracking or financial management tools.
Education: High school degree or GED and three years of relevant experience in program analysis or Bachelor's degree in relevant field or Master's in relevant field Compensation:

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.

 

The projected annual compensation range for this position is 50,000 - 60,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
