Job Description Analyze and understand customer requirements related to IBM Message Queue (MQ) administration. Experience with MQ versions 8.0, 9.0, and upgrades. Administer, maintain, deploy, and configure IBM MQ including installation and configuration of versions 8.x and higher. Implement security hardening, including TLS encryption and authority/authentication records. Define and modify MQ configurations such as queues, listener ports, channels, pub/sub, etc. Support MQ queue managers in a hub & spoke environment (MQ Clients). Perform tuning, troubleshooting, resolution, and support for messaging applications. Collaborate with application development teams. Monitor messaging application performance. Experience with MQ clustering. Manage product fixpack installations and version upgrades of WebSphere MQ. Use MQSC commands for administration tasks.
