Purpose: The Financial Analyst Intern will assist with compiling, reviewing and processing bank reconciliations and support with presentation development using MS Office tools (Word, Excel and PowerPoint). Work schedule: Hybrid. Must be able to reasonably commute or relocate to our offices in Flowery Branch, GA at the time of hire. The intern should expect to work between 10-20 hours a week between business hours of 9am and 5pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities The responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to the following. Collect and organize monthly financial closing information from controllers and ensure accuracy. Assist with preparing monthly consolidated financial statements. Analyze financial performance by comparing actual results with forecasts and budgets. Prepare monthly/quarterly financial analysis review. Calculate sales commissions. Assist with related business analysis duties. Education & Qualifications Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field is required. Must have a basic understanding of accounting. Ability to understand Profit and Loss Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement. Proficiency with financial modeling and budgeting, and forecasting tools Proficient knowledge with forecasting tools (Microsoft Excel, Power BI, etc.).
