Summary of Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee the hygiene and sanitation policies and procedures

• Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with hygiene standards

• Provide training and guidance to staff on best practices for hygiene and sanitation

• Collaborate with other departments to integrate hygiene practices into daily operations

• Implement corrective action plans based on audit findings and guest feedback

• Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations related to hygiene

• Prepare hygiene reports for management and recommend improvements as needed

• Lead the hygiene team in achieving departmental goals and objectives

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Hygiene Management, with at least 2 years in a leadership role; preferably within the hospitality industry
• In-depth knowledge of food safety principles and best practices; HACCP certification is desirable
• Strong leadership skills with an acute sense of good judgment and swift performance improvement. Can thrive in a high-pressure environment and has a strong operational strategy that is timely
• Is well-versed in project management and result-oriented
• Excellent problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, proficient in data analysis and statistical aptitude
• Ability to develop and conduct training programs
• Eloquent in English communication in both written and spoken
• Diploma from Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major is required. Bachelor’s Degree is desirable
