Under the direction of the Corporate Information Security Digital Forensics Manager, the Digital Forensics Analyst position will support the Digital Forensics program for Truist Financial Corporation. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Facilitate collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, including Legal, Human Resources, Corporate Security, Incident Response, Security Operations, Compliance, Governance, and Senior Leadership. Support investigations through forensic acquisition and analysis of electronically stored information (ESI) and devices, following standards and best practices. Maintain expertise in evidence collection, handling, storage procedures, and chain of custody. Use approved forensic tools and methods to analyze ESI and devices, especially in investigations, litigation, or criminal proceedings. Conduct digital forensic investigations into allegations of misconduct, violations of policy, regulations, and laws. Produce forensic reports suitable for civil or criminal proceedings. Stay current on industry trends, tools, and procedures in cybersecurity and digital forensics. Perform stakeholder training, both formal and informal. Qualifications Required Qualifications: B.A. or B.S. degree in a related field or equivalent experience. Knowledge of digital forensics case management and the Electronic Discovery Reference Model. 3+ years experience in incident response or digital forensics investigations. Knowledge of forensic tools, evidence handling, and analysis methods. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Understanding of network protocols and ESI acquisition from network sources. Ability to perform complex forensic investigations, including mobile, network, and memory analysis. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Preferred Qualifications: Industry recognized certifications (e.g., CCE, ACE, EnCE, GCFE). Additional certifications from ISC2, IACIS, SANS, etc. Knowledge of cybercrime statutes like the Computer Fraud and Abuse Act. Experience with industry accepted and open-source forensic tools. Experience in cloud, IoT, or ICS environments.
