Our client, a well-established software company, is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Manager for its growing team. The position offers a hybrid work schedule (two remote days per week), 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, and the salary is $90,000-$100,000. All applicants must be fluent in Spanish.

Position Summary
The Cybersecurity Manager is responsible for managing the operational aspects of the organization's cybersecurity program. This includes overseeing security monitoring, incident response, system hardening, vulnerability management, and ensuring adherence to security policies and compliance standards. The role requires a hands-on technical leader who can manage day-to-day security functions while supporting strategic initiatives.

Required Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, GIAC) are strongly preferred.

Required Experience
• 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or management capacity.
• Experience managing security operations in a Windows Server and MS SQL environment.
• Familiarity with cloud security practices, particularly in AWS environments.
• Exposure to compliance requirements in the healthcare industry (e.g., HIPAA, NIST, HITRUST).

Key Skills & Competencies
• Strong understanding of security operations and threat management.
• Proficiency with tools such as SIEM, antivirus/EDR, firewalls, vulnerability scanners, and DLP solutions.
• Experience with incident response and investigation techniques.
• Knowledge of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and mentor junior security staff.

Responsibilities
• Manage daily operations of the cybersecurity team, ensuring effective monitoring and response to security incidents.
• Oversee the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of security tools and technologies.
• Lead vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and remediation efforts.
• Ensure security baselines and hardening standards are applied across systems.
• Assist in developing and maintaining cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Support audits and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide regular reporting on security incidents, risk posture, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with IT, DevOps, and compliance teams to integrate security into IT operations and projects.

• Security Awareness Training: Support and help deliver training programs to educate employees on security best practices.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for incident response, system configurations, and security controls.
• Professional Development: Stay current with emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity trends to continuously improve defenses.
